Ensured timely and quality support from aero repair, fuels maintenance, machinists, egress/life support and non-destructive inspection technicians. Used LEAN methodologies to improve processes of producing reliable aircraft. Reviewed and analyzed maintenance data systems and management reports to determine most efficient actions to meet workloads, target deficiencies and identify and correct root causes. Accessed maintenance database for building and providing reports and used various media methods for presentation. Prepared and presented staff briefings to executive leadership on daily flying and maintenance production.

Led diverse team of avionics, airframe, sheet metal, engine and hydraulic mechanics and inspectors to perform hourly phase inspections. Using all team members, developed and managed maintenance plans to tear down, inspect, repair and re-assemble many aircraft systems, achieving the goal of on-time and 100% reliability. Coordinated with maintenance contractors to perform specialized inspections and repair, such as non-destructive inspections, fuel system repairs, hydraulic shops for critical components and assisting with jet engine tear down and repairs. Performed troubleshooting techniques to flight control systems, airspeed / altitude instruments, landing gear operation, general hydraulics systems and electrical/environmental systems to evaluate abnormal aircraft systems and developed a course of action to repair / replace any necessary components.

Certified maintenance instructor via 80 hours US Air Force Instructor Course. Program manager / instructor base-wide F-15 C/D engine run and emergency procedures course. Through peer and scheduled reviews, identified and analyzed all current lesson plans and training materials to ensure consistency of developed standards of training policies and guidelines were met, identified any edits, corrections or updates to materials were needed due to a change of guidelines, policies or knowledge requirements. Developed questions for utilizing a standard of measurement to gauge participants’ knowledge level of the subject matter for course evaluation materials and training effectiveness. Supervised and developed all lesson plans to identify and ensure all required objectives and materials were incorporated, followed approved standards and utilized teaching points. Presented in a logical and linear method with course objectives clearly stated and all Plans Of Instruction (POIs) were approved and utilized by all instructors. Researched and used various supplemental handouts and exercises, such as forms and actual physical items to demonstrate, illustrate and convey material in the most effective manner and to improve the participants’ knowledge of the subject. Used actual aircraft and flight simulators to bring the maintenance instruction to the students, hands-on. Instructed lessons in a variety of environments; formal classrooms, mass audiences, flight-lines. Communicated upcoming training to supervisors in a timely matter to minimize scheduling conflicts and over-due training events. Chaired quarterly training meetings to review courses and materials for any updating or corrections and monitored courses for effectiveness via measured tests and frequent visits. Performed monthly training effectiveness briefing to upper management, notified of any training shortfalls and deficiencies and created master training plans to accommodate various worker schedules.
