The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for ambulatory healthcare delivery, including medical, dental and mental health for Sierra Conservation Center (SCC), and 31 adult male fire camps across 25 California counties. In cooperation with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), SCC functions as a training center for incarcerated people in wildland firefighting techniques for the entire state of California. The Fire camps support government agencies in responding to emergencies (fires, floods, natural disasters, and other rescue efforts).

The California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) provides care that includes medical, dental and mental health services. The California Health Care Facility (CHCF) is the flagship facility for the California Correctional Health Care System. With over 1,800 total beds (514 Psychiatric Inpatient beds, 80 mental health crises beds, 1,012 licensed medical beds, a dialysis unit and Dental services), CHCF serves as a complete integrated health system. The appointed CEO is responsible for day-to-day operations of the flagship healthcare facility, with over 2,700 FTEs.

As Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the day-to-day supervision of field health care operations for Centinela State Prison (CEN). The institution included a Correctional Treatment Center (CTC) for treating medical, dental, and mental health issues with an integrated hospital type area/department. The CEO serves as part of the institution’s executive management team. As CEO, oversaw day-to-day operations while managing health care operations for incarcerated persons (I/Ps). Led healthcare's executive management team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of medical, dental, and mental health services. Implemented strategic initiatives to improve patient care and operational efficiency, resulting in positive outcomes for the institution.

The Centennial Harvest Wellness Institute (CHWI) provides teletherapy services, family counseling, education, mental health, peer support groups and community outreach programs. CHWI partners with community leaders, healthcare providers and corporate partners to improve access to quality counseling, wellness and psychotherapy services.* Developed strategic & operational plans for launch, growth & expansion of mental health practice.​* Responsible for regulatory compliance and day-to-day operations of the practice.* Identified, wrote and awarded multiple government agency contracts within the mental health space.

Established in 2002, the Pacific Heart, Lung & Blood Institute (PHLBI) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, freestanding research institution that is committed to advancing medical research. The Chair serves as the presiding officer of the Board of Directors. The BOD Chair is responsible for appointing Board members as Committee Chairs and serves as an ex-officio member with a voice on all committees. Presides at all meetings of the Board and the Executive Committees. Responsibilities include:* Leading the Board and Executive Committee to carry out governance functions. * Partnering with the Executive Director to ensure directives, policies & resolutions are executed. * Assessing the performance of the Board, Board committees and Executive Director.

Reporting to the CEO, the Associate Administrator has an operating budget of $223M; responsibility for 162 FTEs, 11direct reports and day-to-day operations of the hospital. Accountability included Cardiopulmonary, Pathology & Clinical Laboratory, Customer Service, Physical Therapy, OT & Speech Therapy; Pharmacy, Radiology, Dietary services, Security, Plant Operations, Biomedical Engineering and Environmental Services.

An 854 bed, level one regional trauma center with revenues in access of $4B. Directs the day to day operations of Non-Invasive, Invasive and Electrophysiology Laboratory Cardiology Services for Loma Linda University Medical Center's:* University Hospital* Children’s' Hospital* East Campus Hospital* Heart & Surgical Hospital * Outpatient Heart & Imaging Center Clinic.Responsible for day to day operations, patient & physician satisfaction, financial performance, innovation, leadership, regulatory compliance and Human Resource Management. Accountable for six cost centers ($77M gross revenue charges; net revenue $29M). 3K Cath Lab Procedures, 52K non-invasive procedures & 2,400 clinic visits).

Reporting to the COO, my responsibilities included $39M total operating budget, 67 FTE’s, 12 cost centers, 10 direct reports as well as regulatory compliance with national and state agencies, core measures, quality and satisfaction initiatives for the Cardiovascular service line.

A 496-bed tertiary hospital with total revenues of approximately $1.45B. At the academic medical center, my responsibilities included daily operations of the Non-Invasive Cardiology Echo laboratory (including $3.8M in avg charges, 6,000 annual procedures as well as 7 Sonographers & 3 RNs)

Northwestern Memorial Hospital is an 894 licensed bed; Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center with $4.9B in revenue. It is a nationally ranked academic medical center and the primary teaching hospital for Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. The Echo Graphics Tech II performs 2 Dimensional Echocardiograms, cardiac stress test and assists with Transesophageal Echocardiograms to evaluate different aspects of the heart, such as chamber size, valve function and blood flow.
