Elected to the Nederland Board of Trustees in 2008, appointed Mayor Pro Tem, then Mayor. Re-elected twice, making him Nederland's first three-term mayor in over three decades.Guided the town out of financial instability, into a vibrant governmental organization. Instrumental in hiring and evaluating the Town Administrator. Led the town through a community-wide envisioning process, Comprehensive Plan, Master Infrastructure Plan, upgraded the entire water treatment & delivery system, and completed the Waste Water Treatment Plant construction.Represented Nederland regionally by serving on: The Colorado Municipal League (CML) Executive Board, the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) Board of Directors, Metro Mayor's Caucus, Boulder County Consortium of Cities, and the Colorado Association of Ski Towns.

MBNA America was the world's largest independent credit card issuing bank, ($100 Billion) acquired by Bank of America in 2006. Responsible for managing a small administrative staff as well as finances for the Customer Satisfaction Department in the Midwestern region and work on a team developing the $300MM annual budget for the Customer Satisfaction Division as a whole (2000+ people).Participated on several committees, and developed & implemented process improvements reducing expenses or increasing profits.• Divisional Skills Based Routing Project Team.• Divisional Attrition & Staff Modeling Projections• Member of the MBNA Bank Wide Y2K Project Team.• Studied the impact of Foreign Addresses on all divisions in the company and reported the findings to the Senior Operating Committee.
