Spearheaded the conceptualization, design, and development of the Phillies two current "homes" - "Citizens Bank Park" in Philadelphia and "Baycare Ballpark" in Clearwater, FL. Led the effort to select a site for the venues, developed pro forma financial projections, selected the architectural & construction teams, coordinated the programming & design elements, created thematic & team history tributes, and developed food, beverage & retail concepts. Negotiated contract terms, selected the concessionaire, garnered public support, built strong alliances for the two projects, and raised financing in public/private partnerships. Founded a new department "Ballpark Enterprises" to generate ancillary revenue by hosting non-baseball events (concerts, races, corporate events, athletic events, etc.) for the Philadelphia venue.Previously worked on Wall Street in Real Estate Investment Banking (for Salomon Brothers Inc and UBS Securities) financing commercial real estate properties.
