An experienced and proven higher education administrator, Glover has worked in several positions within the University. Glover is currently serving as Vice Chancellor of University Relations.Vice Chancellor Glover is the chief university relations officer for IU Southeast. He develops policies and procedures and establishes long-range plans to direct the campus’ philanthropic, alumni, and community engagement efforts. He oversees The IU Southeast Office of Alumni Relations, Office of Development, and campus special events and projects. A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Vice Chancellor Glover graduated with distinction from IU Southeast with a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing. Glover also earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the IU Southeast School of Business. Glover also earned his Certificate in Fund Raising Management (CFRM) from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at IU Indianapolis. Vice Chancellor Glover has held several management positions at IU Southeast over his 20-year career. He is a lifetime member of the IU Alumni Association and is an involved member of the Southern Indiana community where he serves on several volunteer committees and non-profit boards.Glover previously served as Director of Athletics at IU Southeast for 11 years. Glover was recognized for his efforts by his colleagues when he was named River States Conference Athletic Director of the Year 2013 and 2018. In May 2013, Glover was also named one of “20 Under 40 Best and Brightest” business professionals in a special edition of the Southern Indiana Business Source magazine. In 2017, Glover was named one the “Top 20 People to Know is Sports Business” by Louisville’s Business First Magazine.Glover is an involved member of the Southern Indiana community as well. He serves on several volunteer committees for the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana (CFSI). He also serves as secretary for the Floyd Memorial Foundation. He is also an involved member of the Knights of Columbus as a third-degree Knight.Glover is also a member of the Rotary Club of New Albany where he is currently serving as the club’s President. Glover is also a member of the New Albany High School Alumni Memorial Fund Board of Directors.Glover and his wife, Melissa, who Joe met while they attended classes on the IU Southeast campus, live in Southern Indiana with their daughters, Annabelle (9) and Hadley (5). The family are members of Holy Family Catholic Church. Joe is a lifetime member of the IU Alumni Association.

Develop proposals and assist in making presentations to major donors. Develop and implement special gift programs. Establish and maintain records of donor activities and monitor donor accounts to ensure proper disposition of gifts. Document ongoing contact and progress through contact report submission in Alumni Information System (AIS).

Eligibility ChairRiver States Conference Aug 2022 - PresentServe as the Eligibility Chair for the River States Conference. Receive and review the eligibility certification as submitted by the members of the River States Conference. The Eligibility Chair may approve, request clarification/correction or deny certificates. Serve on the River States Conference Eligibility Committee and Constitution and RSC Bylaws Committee. Receive and review all reports of institutional violations and all requests for exceptions from its members. These reports will be assigned tracking, forwarded to the Eligibility Committee for a recommendation and shared with the Commissioner. Assist the conference and NAIA with any follow-up requirements necessary related to submitted eligibility certificates, eligibility violations or request for exceptions. Coordinate with the Eligibility Committee to ensure the timely review of all reporting to the NAIA for all violations and request for exceptions. Facilitate rules education activities for the River States Conference with specific attention to the rule education of newly appointed faculty athletics representatives, athletics directors and coaches. Participate in all teleconference/video calls by the NAIA national office and responds to all emails or calls by the NAIA Director of Legislative Services or other NAIA or Eligibility Center staff. Nominate faculty athletic representatives for award consideration as appropriate. Coordinate with the Commissioner, RSC FAR Chair and the RSC Registrar Chair for annual meetings of those groups. Provide such updates and communication to all faculty athletic representatives, registrars and athletic directors as necessary to help facility compliance with all conference and NAIA rules. Respond to all FAR, registrar, athletic director and commissioner inquiries within a reasonable time. Attend a meeting of the Administrative Council annually or as requested by the Commissioner or Administrative Council chair. Attend the NAIA National Convention annually. -
