With 24+ years Insurance industry experience under my belt, there isn't many things I haven't seen during that time. Both hard and soft markets, innovative new products being launched, insurers going into liquidation, the rise of MGA's, numerous insurance stalwarts retiring and the new breed coming through...one thing that is still at the forefront of it all though, despite what you might read, is that it is still a relationship driven business!I'm in the Inherent Defects market, aka Latent Defects, Structural Warranty, New Home Warranty etc... working for Build-Zone, one of the UK & Eire's leading providers of this 10 or 12 year Structural cover. My role entails placing & managing one of our 'A' Rated Delegated Authorities, looking after our niche network of specialist IDI Brokers and Underwriting our Major Projects, which we class as £25m Build Cost & above.We can write risks north of £350m per single structure (on a full value basis), with larger projects able to be considered as well, so all in all it is a busy old time! I'm also a huge football fan and travel Europe with my boy (who's a promising GK), taking in as many stadiums and games as we can, whilst also watching Ange Ball at Spurs.Outside of the day job I am a Soulful House DJ & have played all over the world for promotions including MN2S, Soul Heaven, Kinky Malinki, Brooklyn Hustle, Let There Be House, iCulture & Southport Weekender. My own brand, City Life has hosted events all over UK, Italy, Ibiza, Tenerife, Santorini & the US and our Record Label Bon Appetit Records, had it's debut Vinyl EP release in 2018.
