•Co-author and editor of the 2014 report on food sharing entitled Share No More: The Criminalization of Efforts to Feed People in Need •Co-author of the 2014 report on hate crimes against the homeless which is expected to be released in the upcoming year•Editor of Vulnerable to Hate: A Survey of Hate Crimes and Violence Committed against Homeless People in 2013•Helped organize a Congressional briefing that mirrored the release of the 2013 Hate Crimes report Duties included writing statements for participants in the briefing and contacting members of Congress regarding their participation•Lobbied Congress for legislation that benefitted the homeless, including a Homeless Bills of Rights Act that would make homelessness a protected class under the law•Led outreach runs about twice a month with groups of 12-15 college students to provide homeless in Washington DC with cosmetics, socks, and various snack foods
