I joined the Waterloo Black Hawks as the franchise’s President of Business Operations in June of 2015. As President, I oversee all business operations for the organization. During my time here in the Cedar Valley, our business team has done a tremendous job of growing the game of hockey and meeting internal business goals. I take pride in what we have accomplished as a business team, but I am extremely proud of the way that our staff, players, and organization have prioritized giving back to our community. As we like to say, “Here in Party Town, it’s all about family.”The Black Hawks have received wonderful support from the community, averaging over 85% of capacity with attendance through my five seasons in Waterloo. Our team has shown excellence across the board, achieving not only growth in sponsorship, tickets, and merchandise sales but also on the ice as well. Our staff did such an exceptional job recently that the Black Hawks were recognized as the 2019 Grow Cedar Valley “Business of the Year.” We were also named the 2019 Cedar Valley Tourism "Attraction of the Year." While we have much to be proud of, we will continue to innovate in all facets of our business as we strive to become the best team in the USHL, on and off of the ice.
