Teaching English in Greece was a baptism of fire, and was a good lesson in initiative. Ever since, being out my comfort zone has seemed to be fairly standard, not out of choice always, but out of necessity. After six years in Greece and a coup[le of years in France, I returned to the UK with my life and future business partner Jennifer (plus two sons). I retrained in marketing and worked for a competitor. After a few years there, and after we had stopped breeding, we headed to Scotland to start out on our own and launched TEFL Scotland Ltd in 2008. Our first office was a shed in the back garden or our rented house in the Highland town of Beauly and now in Inverness, we employ over 30 staff working in the UK, Ireland, Spain and China.We recently launched our newest venture, www.feedmyhappy.com a platform for training courses to develop well-being and happiness.We are lucky to have a fantastic team that allows us to explore new opportunities and helps keep Jennifer and me together and happy.
