I’ve been called many things in business, but Entrepreneur, Inventor, Artist, Designer and Musician apply. Those labels seem to make the most sense and cover pretty much everything I should say here, so I'll just share some stories about how I like to change the world everyday.Currently I am President/CEO of a maturing start-up called PHOTAVIA and I am also the owner of a creative hybrid creative/marketing firm called Hausch Design Agency(HDA).PHOTAVIA, is a digital content provider that features familiar, iconic images from The LIFE Picture Collection along with interesting backstories. PHOTAVIA’s short videos, “V-Clips©”, are informative and engaging. They can stimulate, educate, or fill the environment with living, moving art. Famous quotes and descriptions surround each subject. Customized V-Clips are shared at a comfortable reading pace. Memories are pinged, interest is piqued, and people engage, creating instant multi-generational conversations almost immediately. All PHOTAVIA content is developed and produced in Wisconsin, and the music beds are all original compositions. So I am always looking for international artists/musicians with ties to the Dairy State. Either they have lived, studied or recorded here. If they love and understand our content, I'm interested in talking more about the longterm.HDA partnered with PHOTAVIA can handle any branding, video, marketing, advertising need for small and mid-sized organizations looking to grow. Message me or give me a call, we can talk more about improving lives, and/or how I...we are changing the world.

Member/Owner/Investor/Branding/MarketingHudson Business Lounge+Cafe/Bar 2012 - Feb 2020I am an original investor in this very interesting project and I occasionally assist with some consulting, branding and marketing. The Hudson is generally very similar to an idea I had in about 2000. I wanted to form a cooperative office space that featured mainly creatives and marketers that were on their own and misplaced working at home. I wanted to give them sharing opportunities that would ultimately benefit all including the clients. Featuring writers, web developers, designers, marketers, product designers, photographers, videographers and more, it was part of my Octodea plan, but it got sidetracked with my business, inventing a chocolate product/company and having a family. The Hudson Business Lounge is a similar idea only different. I was pleased to be asked to be involved and we are working towards growing the concept for this "self contained, technically advanced, modern mobile working community".

Owner, FounderThe Cholive Company Llc Aug 2007 - 2009I developed the concept for the Cholive® in 2005. We began production and formed the company in August 2007. Josh Gentine joined as partner and became president soon after. The following description is from our National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show intro May, 2008:"The Cholive Company LLC is thrilled to introduce the Cholive, a mini olive-shaped chocolate truffle designed for martinis, cream-based cocktails, wine, coffee, or simply to be eaten on its own. The dark chocolate (55% cocoa) shell envelopes a Vermont whole cream ganache - a guiltless indulgence at 35 calories. Consumers are thrilled when they find this olive-shaped truffle in their drink while bars and restaurants sell more drinks simply because customers want another Cholive. ...the Cholive is able to enhance a drink without breaking margins. .... customers kept asking bartenders for more Cholives, we now offer on-premise accounts the opportunity to retail our magnetic tins;...and make money on our garnish!"

President / Alumni Association MemberMilwaukee Institute Of Art & Design (Miad) 2001 - 2007Milwaukee, Wi, UsThe Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) is an accredited college providing Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in the fields of Communication Design, Drawing, Illustration, Industrial Design, Integrated Fine Arts Studio, Interior Architecture + Design, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture and Time-Based Media. We prepare students with interest and ability in the visual arts for passage into professional careers. We’re not a trade school. We’re a college that launches professional artists and designers on their personal journeys toward artistic growth and successful, creative lives. We were founded as MIAD in 1974, but formed from the Layton School of Art & Design, which began instruction in 1920. There are, on average, about 600 full-time MIAD students and about 200 staff/faculty. The student/faculty ratio is 16:1. All faculty are working artists, designers, writers and researchers; there are also instructors who are working professionals. -
Board MemberIndependencefirst 1996 - 2003Southeastern Wisconsin's leading "Resource for people with disabilities".My firm was hired to provide a naming and re-branding assignment in 1995 with the organization that was then called South Eastern Wisconsin Center for Independent Living or SEWCIL. As part of my process I did interviews of about half of the employees and board members. The final presentation was very successful, and basically it was the only presentation that I've received a round of applause and standing ovation by those who were able. Members of the staff and board recognized that I had learned quite a bit about the organization and they nominated me to be a part of the board and marketing committee. I went on to serve seven years. Some of the best people and experiences of my life center around my involvement with IndependenceFirst. I still donate time, stay involved with friends and occasionally provide branding, marketing assistance.

Founder, Partner, Creative DirectorH2D, Inc. 1986 - 2001What don't you do as a founder of a business, partner and CD? Here's something I recall. I remember working on a presentation with another firm for a TV and Radio Station I believe. Finalizing it, I worked for 2 days straight, taking only a nap for twenty minutes at about 6:00 a.m. before my partner came in for the day. We were on Brady street, I sent everyone home, said I was under control and kept going. I slept on some pillows on the balcony and I'm pretty sure I got a parking ticket for over night parking on the street. It was Friday afternoon when I finished. I stopped for a beer and then slept for pretty much of Saturday. I don't think I would trade in any experience in my career, it's all good and I am blessed.

DrummerCouch Flambeau Apr 1986 - Oct 1994Hired gunner, I mean drummer for the "obscure rock band" Couch Flambeau. Couch Flambeau is an American punk rock band, formed in 1981 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The band is known for the biting wit of their lyrics. I joined in '86 and we played places like Shank Hall, Summerfest, the Rave, and Odd Rock Cafe in Milwaukee, OKAYZ Coral in Madison, The Cubby Bear and many other Chicago venues and most famously CBGB's (twice) and live on the radio at WNYU studios in New York City. In an excerpt from an article from OnMilwaukee.com called "Couch Flambeau retrospective: better late than never!" by Jason Keil, he states:""The Day the Music Died," the group's third release, was recognized by writer Byron Coley in Spin Magazine as one of the top 80 albums of the 1980s.Others began to take notice of the band's work as well, including famed producer Steve Albini (with whom Tiller played with in the short-lived band Army), Trouser Press co-founder and critic Ira Robbins, and Conflict Magazine publisher Gerard Cosloy. However, it was with 1989's "Ghostride" that many Couch Flambeau fans claim to be the group's finest work."(The music) became longer and more complicated," says Socol."It's kind of a detriment that we've become more proficient at playing," Tiller quips."-------Other: Steve Albini, the famed punk rock musician and recording engineer, said the group played "good funny music". ... "We performed with a wide range of acts including Snakefinger, Big Black, The Violent Femmes, Die Kreuzen, 10,000 Maniacs, White Zombie and Soul Asylum to name a few.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Couch_Flambeau
