I am an experienced business, community, and healthcare chaplain, delivering pastoral care to clients, patients, leadership, and staff. I bring with me a wealth of knowledge, as well as being an Expert by Experience within complex mental health, ASC, Eating Disorders, and Trauma-Informed approaches to care. I sit on NHS England's Restrictive Practice Oversight Group for Children and Young People.Also, I am the author of 5 books, and the author of published work in fiction, philosophy, and academia, contributing to over 20 books, alongside opinion piece journalism for national press. As a regular contributor on BBC Radio, and TV work, I have a wealth of media experience. I have taught in colleges and universities, as well as invitations to deliver academic papers on mental health, cultural studies, and philosophical education at international symposiums. My experience is wide reaching, including being the main stage speaker at national conferences. I have also developed educational materials for schools, and teacher training.My writing work extends to copywriting, copy editing, CV writing, ghostwriting, and website development.Alongside my identical twin brother I worked as an oyster fisherman, cultivating oysters off the coast of Essex. We are eighth generation oyster farmers, working the land as a family for 300 years. I now sit as a Director for the company.
