I achieve these by agreeing the speed, importance and quality of service with my clients and finding prompt solutions to problems when they arise, such as stepping into the role of a Broker to ensure agreed targets are met.• I specialise in War Risks Insurance and have built up a sound knowledge of this type of Insurance, over a period of 25 years.• I have been involved in placing and the servicing of Marine Reinsurance for Italian Insurance Companies and Brokers, using Insurers from several countries including Norway, USA, France and the Far East to achieve the best terms for the client. I particularly enjoy the overseas broking aspect of this work and delivering client satisfaction.• Although based in Ipswich, I have taken up a number of secondments to the London office which have increased my overall experience with Underwriters and Clients. I have worked on U.S. & U.K. Marine accounts, large Shipping Companies such as Safmarine, South/Latin American Ship-owners and Italian Reinsurance for Companies including S.I.A.T. and Generali, based in Genoa. • During the early years of my career, I focussed on processing premiums and producing Marine Hull, War and Liability insurance policies, before switching to placing insurances, via Lloyd's &/or AXA, for private yacht owners.IT SkillsGood working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Statistically based Spread-sheets, Explorer and Emails.
