Camphor Press has published my most recent pair of novels, the first being Bu San Bu Si, a Taiwan punk tale, and the most recent, Migrante, a story of Southeast Asian migrant workers in Taiwan and the many ways they are exploited by a cruel and corrupt labor brokerage system. All proceeds from the sale of the English-language version of Migrante are donated to migrant worker advocacy groups in Taiwan.

I contribute to a weekly music column called Live Wire, which appears every Friday in the Taipei Times daily newspaper. I have also reported on social and human rights issues, as well as political matters, sporting events, and more.

Dharma is a Buddhist death metal band based out of Taipei, Taiwan, for which I perform lead vocals on our albums and live at the shows we stage throughout Taiwan and all over the world. Our songs are Buddhist mantras, sung in the original Sanskrit, which we set to our own original death metal compositions. Trust me, it works.

My first novel, Sons of the Republic, is to be released by Library Tales Publishing on September 15th, 2014. Since signing on with the company as an author, I've also been commissioned as an editor for several of LTP's releases.

For 100 Chapters, I wrote the script for a TV movie entitled The Eternal Flower, which was translated into Mandarin and aired on the PTS network in Taiwan in late 2018. The film still airs from time to time on PTS, and was also available for streaming on Amazon Prime.

I wrote the scripts for the three-episode season of a show entitled Taiwan Made, which took a scientific look inside the production process of several Made In Taiwan products. The show, which aired on the Discovery Channel, took the prize for Best Science Program at the 2015 edition of the Golden Bell Awards, Taiwan's equivalent to the Emmy Awards.

TaipeiMetal.com is the first, and thus far only bilingual website dedicated to the metal scene in Taiwan, with articles in English and Mandarin Chinese. It features interviews with the world's biggest metal bands, CD reviews, local show information, and links to all the talented bands that call Taiwan home.

I worked as an editor, host, and writer for AMC, which publishes monthly magazines, films a TV program, and records radio shows for the ESL market in Taiwan.
