I'm a freelance writer, script writer, and editor specializing in music, travel, sports, and lifestyle features with ten years' worth of experience in print and online publishing. I've also done some radio hosting and voice over work over the years. My home base is Taipei, Taiwan, but I tend to travel around quite a bit both for work and for pleasure. My debut television script writing foray for the show Taiwan Made, which airs on the Discovery Channel, contributed to Golden Bell Award win for Best Science Program, the Taiwanese equivalent of an Emmy. I've since also written the script for a TV movie, The Eternal Flower, which aired on the PTS network in Taiwan in late 2018. In between I've worked on everything from nature documentaries to commercials. I've had three novels published as well. The latest, Migrante, tells the tale of a Filipino migrant fisherman in Taiwan, and is based on several years' worth of reporting I have done on migrant worker rights in the Asia region. All proceeds for the English version of the book are being donated to migrant worker advocacy groups in Taiwan. The Mandarin version is due mid-2022 via Reading Times Publishing.
