Currently I am president of Versta Research Inc. and recently served on the Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association (AMA) in Chicago. For the last decade I have focused on full-service public opinion and market research, heading up business for clients in the public relations, financial services, health care, and not-for-profit sectors. Work for clients has included Pfizer, Bristol-Myers Squibb, the American Academy of Pediatrics, GolinHarris, Ogilvy Worldwide, Samsung, Fidelity Investments, Wachovia, Wells Fargo, and TIAA-CREF.From 1996 to 2001 I taught on the faculty at the University of Chicago and the National Opinion Research Center (NORC), heading major projects funded by professional grants from the National Institutes of Health. Undergraduate and graduate training was supported by individual fellowships and research awards from Bausch and Lomb, Eastman Kodak, the International Sociological Association, the American Sociological Association, and the Society for the Study of Social Problems.
