I use Toggl to track my time on various things, and I wanted a different app experience on iOS, so I made Timery. I’m responsible for the whole app: the UI, the icons, the code, and more. Everything except the actual time-tracking service.Timery has been featured on MacStories, AppStories, Connected, Cortex, & Upgrade and was named Best New App for the 2019 MacStories Selects awards. Federico Viticci wrote, “[…It’s] not often that a new app manages to go beyond mere professional intrigue and actually change the way we get work done. Timery is one such app”.

I couldn’t find the perfect-for-me iOS weather app, so I made Partly Sunny. I’m responsible for the whole app: the UI, the icons, the lines and lines of code. Everything except the actual meteorology (Dark Sky does that part).Partly Sunny was featured in Apple’s “New Apps We Love”, MacStories, AppAdvice, and Lifehacker. Jake Underwood at MacStories wrote, “[Partly Sunny] feels designed to belong in iOS. It’s an app that feels built by Apple if the company decided to make a massive iterative change to its own stock Weather app.”

I was the primary developer of an industry-leading soccer-analysis touchscreen platform for live television broadcasts worldwide. My roles included UI & layout design; VizRT implementation, animation, & scripting; and extensive multinational travel (including London, Paris, & Doha) for analyst training & studio support. I also learned how exciting a 0-0 tie could be.

I was the lead developer of on-air touchscreen graphics used by SportsCenter and SportsNation analysts and hosts. My roles included concept development; UI & layout design; VizRT implementation, animation, & scripting; analyst training; and studio support (which once made me a guest star on SportsNation). For our SportsNation work, my colleagues and I won the 2009 Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Graphic Design.In addition to touchscreen work, I improved my department’s efficiency by introducing reusable VizRT scripts and mentoring my peers in creating scripts of their own.
