Carrying out a nation-wide geospatial data analysis and mapping of financial access landscape for financial inclusion in Sierra Leone.The aim of the study:1. To identify underserved areas and areas ready for financial service expansion and optimum/maximized opportunities.2. Provide information that will help assess the strategic placement of current and potential financial products and access channels and, potentially build a business case for reforms and the expansion of products and services in new areas.

• Assess/review of the GIS/MIS capacity and identify gaps that needs to be addressed over the short, medium and long terms.• Develop a capacity building/development plan including the training of a team of at least four staff members in NaCSA on the setup, Use and management of the system.• Develop geographical information system (GIS), MIS and spatially referenced information about the social safety net intervention in Sierra Leone as a key step to capacity building and development of the knowledgebase of the social Protection secretariat.

1. Reviewed OCHA Yemen’s data collection tools, processes & analytical information management (IM) products, 2. Identified relevant data providers, sectoral datasets & conducted both quantitative & qualitative analysis using various statistical, spatio-temporal & graphical analysis tools, 3. Regularly processed data/information & presented it in the most useful format for analysis; maps, infographics, snapshots, dashboards) to support OCHA Yemen's mandate, 4. Regularly provided technical advisory & analysis of both cluster & inter-cluster data & information to support coordination, planning, advocacy, & monitoring to strengthen principled humanitarian response to affected communities in Yemen, 5. Successfully led the Humanitarian Needs Overview (HNO) process since 2012, working with clusters & developing severity needs mapping as well as cluster specific heat maps, 6. Developed data gathering tool to monitor performance of the Yemen Humanitarian Response Plan (YHRP), beneficiaries reached & including reporting on IM indicators of the strategic results framework as well as OCHA Yemen’s contribution into the global OCHA annual report,7. Successfully carried out on a yearly basis client satisfaction surveys including Focus Group Discussions with partners to evaluate OCHA Yemen’s performance,8. Experienced IM expert in complex emergencies as in the case of the Yemen crisis following the 26 March 2015 bombing led by the Saudi-led coalition. Successfully carried out analysis to regularly create key IM products including;a. Who is Doing What & Where, response capacity, needs & gaps, humanitarian stocks delivery, quantity & location, monitoring access constraints, & supporting assessments, and,b. Regularly producing maps & infographics for OCHA’s daily Flash Updates, weekly Situation Reports, Snapshots, Dashboards, & ensuring that the Humanitarian Response Info & the OCHA Yemen websites are regularly updated with relevant content.

1. Provided information management expertise to the UN Country Team (UNCT) to enable delivery of principled humanitarian response to affected communities in Iraq.2. Successfully supervised a team of GIS, Database and Web Development, Statistics, Graphic Design experts and consultants leading to improved quality of products and services to the UNCT.3. Carried out presentations, technical briefing sessions to report on technical project performance to UN agencies as well as technical/IM areas for collaboration.4. Successfully raised over $800,000 through fees charged for IM products and project implementation, with the money used to hire short term consultants.5. Developed technical proposals including the Iraq Knowledge Management project of the Iraq Public Sector Modernisation Programme which successfully raised about $700,000 for implementation.6. Provided technical advice and support in large data surveys and analysis including the Iraq Knowledge Network (IKN) survey.

1. Developed an integrated marketing and communications strategy leading to increase in user usage of Landmap services and data by 10%.2. Successfully organised 9 workshops & trainings covering 6 UK universities targeting over 600 Undergraduates, Postgraduates (MSC & PhD students) and Librarians.3. Ordered & processed Radar data (ASAR IM, WS, & AP, ALOS) of 2007, 2008 and 2009 covering England, extracted metadata and ingested into the Landmap download facility.

1. Develop a conceptual and methodological framework to assess climate change vulnerability to fluvial flooding and heat waves in the UK. 2. Reviewed the literature, developed the framework and methodology for assessing risk and vulnerability towards heat wave and flooding in UK.3. Identified relevant indicators, gathered data, and carried out statistical and spatial analysis to map vulnerability and risk at national and local scales.4. Contributed to the writing up of the final project report as well as the mid-term report.

1. Successfully managed a team of GIS, Remote Sensing, Database & Web Programming Specialists (18 staff) in developing information management applications. 2. Successfully raised over $200,000 for payments from applications and products developed, 3. Established and equipped Geographic Information Systems (GIS) units in six ministries and trained over 30 staff in GIS and other aspects of information management. 4. Developed an information system on flood hazard prone areas, flood hazard frequency, vulnerable population and flood disaster risk information.

Managed a regional team of two GIS technicians, provided geospatial products (maps, satellite image analysis products, statistics and databases) to the humanitarian community and government ministries in the northeast of Afghanistan and taking the lead in IM, surveys and assessments.

1. Developed databases and gather data/information on the humanitarian situation in Sierra Leone during the rebel war. 2. Developed and maintained "Who is Doing What and Where?”, IDPs, Refugee, and Agriculture Input to Vulnerable Farmers Databases for Humanitarian decision making. 3. Provided in-depth analysis and statistics on the humanitarian situation during the war in Sierra Leone. 4. Developed and regularly updated tools, templates, and standards for data collection and sharing amongst the humanitarian community.

1. Assess the humanitarian situation in Sierra Leone following the imposition of the sanctions embargo by the UN in 1997 on the AFRC Junta Regime in Sierra Leone,2. Developed relevant tools and processes for gathering information through a network of sentinel system, food market prices and humanitarian organisations to assess the evolving humanitarian situation in Sierra Leone,3. Successfully provided in-depth analysis of the evolving humanitarian situation to heads of UN agencies in Guinea to inform humanitarian programming in Sierra Leone.

1. Successfully carried out the monitoring and evaluation of a 5-year Primary Health Care Programme in 3 districts of Sierra Leone.2. Successfully carried out baseline surveys, impact evaluation, mid-term evaluation, end of programme evaluation and performance evaluation.3. Developed data gathering tools and reporting templates for gathering information on IDPs, Refugees and vulnerable farmers and mapping the information.

1. Developed IDP/Refugee database that contained over 42,000 households. 2. Participated in several joint assessment missions with the UN agencies, NGOs, Community Based Organisations, and government authorities.
