Led early outreach efforts targeting athlete representation and national sport governing bodies. Offered a portfolio of personal branding and executive coaching services to prospective clients. Facilitated an orientation for founding members that included a mentor-member matching process. Developed a corporate sponsorship platform to generate fund support for Olympians wishing to join the organization and access services.

Oshawa, Ontario

Developed a comprehensive, Council-approved corporate partnership program for the city’s network of recreational spaces and special events. Performed an in-depth assessment of the Department of Recreation & Culture Services that included asset identification, sponsorship policy development and widespread staff orientation. During an initial feasibility campaign, managed all community outreach that resulted in approximately $1 million of new revenue including the city’s first facility naming rights contracts.

Oshawa, Ontario

Responsible for budget oversight that spanned across business and hockey operations. Directed all sales, marketing and fan experience strategies working in collaboration with venue management and local government. Supervised a team of business staff and over 100 volunteers supporting game-day operations and community engagement. Spearheaded an organization-wide public relations campaign that resulted in Civic Pride recognition at the 2010 Business Excellence Awards hosted by the Oshawa Chamber of Commerce.

Established and delivered a business development plan that served the interests of a complex public-private ownership group. Played an instrumental role in the business transformation of one of the most successful junior hockey franchises in Canada. Participated on the host organizing committee for the 2005 Memorial Cup that included cause marketing, community integration and record-setting local sponsorship revenues.
