Responsible for administration and management of the curriculum, delivery of student services, and program operations. Plays a key role in the ongoing development of strategic plans and curriculum development; overseeing planned administrative implementation; and ensuring continued adherence to the plans selected.

Staff responsible for all student services and academic program management of the University of Washington Marine Biology Major and Minor programs, working under the Faculty Director of Marine Biology. Supported the successful launch of a new undergraduate major program through recruitment, communications, curriculum support, enrollment management and academic advising.* Successfully managed growth from launch to approximately 375 concurrently registered students by the start of the 2022-23 academic year.* Managed transition of student services online during remote operations from the COVID-19 pandemic. Retained hybrid options for information sessions and advising to increase accessibility of services.* Collected and visualized student data to analyze cohort performance, track program growth and project enrollment demand using Excel and Tableau.* Collaborated with Directors/Chairs, faculty and staff of related units (School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences, School of Oceanography, and Friday Harbor Labs) on curriculum and course planning. Academic advising and program coordination for multiple interdisciplinary undergraduate programs at the University of Washington College of the Environment including Marine Biology, the Center for Quantitative Sciences and Friday Harbor Laboratories.* Contributed to the successful proposal for an interdisciplinary major in Marine Biology. Supported faculty committee in the design of program requirements, projected program and course growth, managed program application documents, and managed launch communications.* Coordinated student services for the Marine Biology minor program of about 160 students. Managed recruitment, student events, academic advising, and staffing of a faculty steering committee.* Supported partnership with Seattle Aquarium Youth Ocean Advocate high school volunteer program by planning and facilitating multiple events annually, including a three-day tour of the Friday Harbor Labs marine field station.* Worked with the College of the Environment Associate Dean of Academic Affairs to query, interpret and visualize student data to support college-wide recruitment and retention efforts.

Managed student services for the Environmental Studies major including academic advising, assessment, career development, recruitment, curriculum support, event planning, and supervision of one academic advisor.* Worked with Program on the Environment Capstone Instructor to create 'Capstone Meet and Greet' event to match students with potential site partners in person.* Collaborated with alumni volunteers and UW Career Counselors to deliver quarterly "Environmental Career Skills Workshops" on resumes, job interviews, networking skills, and career exploration.* Gained 'academic analyst' role to directly query student services data collected through the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Created customized queries to report on recruitment information not available as a pre-fabricated report (new majors vs. majors lost per quarter).

Primary advisor for an interdisciplinary undergraduate program as it grew from 160 to approximately 280 majors.* Skilled with tools, policies and resources for advising college undergraduates: degree and major requirements, registration and course selection, transfer admission, and campus support services.* Responsible for communications to current and prospective students. Updated program communications from single e-mail list to include a departmental blog, Facebook page, and Twitter feed.* Managed quarterly time schedule, room assignments and course evaluations.* Produced program narratives and graphics at the request of the faculty director related to course enrollment, proposed curriculum changes, alumni employment and program growth.* Improved departmental Access database tracking of alumni employment.

Provided individual and group counseling services for a 400 student K-6 elementary school. Supported the behavioral and emotional development for all students to create an improved learning environment. Created and taught guidance lessons for all grades on topics such as effective listening and respecting diversity.* School Test Coordinator for the 2006 Hawai'i State Assessment: trained faculty in test administration and security, scheduled test sessions, and prepared and distributed test materials.* Lead counselor for the Primary School Adjustment Project (PSAP) at Aiea Elementary: an early intervention program for children in grades K-3 using expressive play.* Faculty advisor for school student council program: organized elections, instructed officers in responsibilities and procedures, and planned quarterly school assemblies.
