In his 20+ years working in marketing and business development, he has built out a large, distinguished network of corporate and agency contacts.Joe spent over six years at Engauge (acquired by Publicis Groupe in 2013). As SVP of Marketing and Business Development, he focused on landing marquis clients such as Cisco Systems, Hershey's, AMC Theatres, Newell Rubbermaid, Turner Broadcasting, and Chick-fil-A. Soon after Engauge was acquired, Joe recognized a gap in the market that he was uniquely suited to help fill - helping brands and marketing agencies connect. AgencySparks was born in early 2014 and then rebranded as SetUp in 2019.Prior to Engauge, Joe spent 8+ years at KnowledgeStorm (acquired by TechTarget in 2007), and four years in retail management for Eddie Bauer and Abercrombie & Fitch.Joe continues to give back to the marketing community by serving on the board of directors for various marketing organizations, including the American Marketing Association (AMA Atlanta), the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association (rebranded at Fuse ATL), and the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. He also volunteers weekly at Everybody Wins! Atlanta, and is a graduate of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization Accelerator program.Joe often jokes that he uses his Speech Communications major from Wake Forest University every day and his Politics major more frequently than he would like. When Joe isn’t working, he loves discovering new music (he hosts a weekly radio show at GumboShow.com) and spends time with his twin children, Joss and Radley. He spends most weekends supporting his kids’ activities, exploring outdoors, and immersing himself in music.

After 17 years serving on the board of directors of the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association (AIMA), I resigned in early 2021. The organization has since rebranded as Fuse.
