Conducts repair of reefer marine container van, chassis with damage/defect in accordance to set tariffPerforms pre-trip inspection (PTI) to all generator sets, chassis and reefer marine container van upon arrival of the equipment to the container yard.Diagnose or troubleshoot any damaged equipment and provide corrective action to resolve or correct the defect. Empowered to decide and/or resolved any technical related breakdown or irregularities of equipment.Performs periodic/preventive maintenance based on the schedule designed for the equipment (reefer container, chassis and generator sets.) Prepares requisition of parts and materials needed for the reefer marine container, generator set and chassis being repaired.Coordinates with immediate superior the materials and parts requested for the repairInspects reefer marine container van under lease or storage as needed.Implements safety measures at all times.Ensures that all repair and maintenance works are in accordance to the operating guidelines stated in the equipment operations manual Ensures that working area is clean and organized at all times.Ensures compliance of proper handling and maintenance of tolls parts, chemicals and other materials used based on set guidelines.Conducts structural and container van accessories inspection, and prepare equipment interchange report of every container van accepted and issued.Validates repair cost estimate of contractor and prepare job order.
