Hey there!👋 I'm Joel - I'll be your trusted advisor through the wonderful and varied issues that arise when life and law interact.Over my career, I've developed a speciality across the employment and HR space, providing advice to employers and employees across many industries. Most recently, I've been immersed in the independent schools sector, having advised hundreds of schools and hundreds of employees. Before arriving at Arnotts Lawyers, I held a leadership position as HR Director of one of Sydney's most prestigious independent schools. I've also worked in employee relations in a large HR team at one of Sydney's biggest universities. Earlier in my career I consulted / advised on HR/ER to small-medium businesses across Australia, receiving the "Advisor of the Year" award in 2016. In 2022, I complimented my professional experience by completing the Master of Labour Law and Relations at the University of Sydney.My professional journey means that I deeply understand the interaction of law, risk, and compliance, together with the unique dynamics of each organisation. I am enthusiastic about helping you practically navigate legal issues, and doing so with integrity.I am pleased to bring my passion for employment law to Arnotts Lawyers, a firm which boasts 43 years of experience across conveyancing, leases, and wills and estates.
