I am a motivated Computer Science student at Appalachian State University. When I was a student at Surry Community College, I took a Java and C class and really enjoyed it. I knew from those classes that this is something that is enthralling and that I could do for the rest of my life. I am passionate about Data Science using Python and R. I have experience in languages such as Python, Java, R, SQL, C, Assembly, and Machine. I also have experience in Git/GitHub working with other collaborators.I am part of The Appalachian High Achievers in STEM program that is to help students succeed in STEM majors. This program provides me with mentorship to further my Computer Science skills. I have worked on a project where my team created a game called Dots-and-Boxes in Python. In this team, I learned the meaning of teamwork and how important it is.Among my friends and peers, I can be described as funny, determined, a problem-solver, positive energy, and kind. I strive to keep all of these attributes because if I lose this people would hate to work with someone that is unkind and has no drive. Outside of school and working I enjoy gaming with my friends. These games can range from Xbox, Bowling, and Golf. I love all things Star Wars, Harry Potter, and The Lord of the Rings because of the imagination that it takes to engage with them. These things let my brain run wild and have fun.
