I have been privileged to be able to work in a variety of educational roles: I am a licensed professional educator in the state of Wisconsin, a certified teacher in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, an interpreter at Heritage Hill State Historical Park, and have a Masters in Environmental Education. I have taught 3 different high school chemistry classes at St Francis High School (public), where I implemented new curriculum, actively contributed in the expansion of a new science wing, acquired grants to enhance the department’s technology, and expanded the chemistry program, including the implementation of a new course and individualized AP Chem prep. I have taught chemistry, physics, environmental science, advanced computers, pre-algebra, psychology, theology, and engineering classes at Manitowoc Lutheran High School, where I was actively involved in the expansion and renovation of the science rooms, acquired grants for environmental studies of the local river, and continue to work in a variety of roles in service of MLHS and it's shared mission, “We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord” (Psalm 78:4).Specialties: Chemical education, curriculum development, robotics, educational technology, grant writing, historical interpretation.
