Over the years, Joel helped the organization to save significant costs. For example, in driving increased customer adoption of EDI, he greatly improved customer service prouctivity. In assuming control of our cell phone bills, he saved about 33% of what we had paid when that plan was managed by another department. Our uptime went to 99.9% after he overhauled our server room and implemented virtualization. Additionally, our disaster recovery plan was highly reliable and we could pull data from a variety of time periods without issue.
