Daily Functions:• Overseeing and managing 10+ employees• Taking care of all employee PTO, disciplinary actions, schedules, reviews, pay increases, hiring, and firing• Training new employees on Osha safety, Food safety, S.O.P.’s, equipment maintenance, and general construction knowledge• Knowledge in Sched. 80, Copper, PVC, ABS, Propress and Stainless plumbing.• Capable of troubleshooting and minor repair work on HVAC/Refrigeration systems• Knowledge in all construction trades(electrical, carpentry, roofing, plumbing, ETC.)• Always striving to finish projects on or before deadlines • Pre-fabricating metal, plastic, acrylic glass, and many other materials to make anything needed to accomplish a project• Minor knowledge/capabilities in MIG and TIG welding• Troubleshooting/repairs on industrial air compressors, water pumps, electrical systems, sump pumps, water pumps, grease traps, lift stations, and hood exhausts• Overseeing all construction projects in facility • Working with owners and operations manager in purchasing new equipment including but not limited to forklifts, sanitary design equipment, building materials, ETC…• Doing extensive research and product comparisons before purchases• Making new forms, charts, sending emails (Word,Excel,Outlook) and writing S.O.P.’s• Always striving to look for ways to improve efficiency in my department by using my knowledge in Kaizen problem solving, SQF, 5s, GMP’s, continuous improvement, HACCP, and BRC.• Knowledge in food packaging/processing equipment such as conveyor belts, rotary cup sealing machines, slicers, dicers, vegetable spinners, flume washers, ovens, label machines, vertical inline baggers, skillets, kettles, L-bar sealers, heat tunnels, metal detectors, fryers, heat exchangers, Etc. • Knowledge in PLC’s, VFD’s, safety relays, fuses, low voltage, sensors, electrical diagrams, and pneumatic systems. Managing budgets, PO systems, CMMS, Etc.
