Co-founded Specmatic, and was part of the core team that built it. Deeply involved in its design and implementation from the start. Built the product to support real world integration problems faced by clients.

In this phase we revamped the user interfaces of the home grown e-commerce platform that ran our businesses, giving it a modern face lift. At first I was responsible for the development teams that worked on the b2b side of the platform. Later on, I was entrusted with the retail side of the effort as well. This work involved rebuilding the desktop web browser experience, and introducing a new mobile application for our b2b clients.

In this phase, I was responsible for several development teams, while contributing hands-on in all areas.We worked on intelligent email client plugins that caught spam and delivered relevant contextual information while viewing emails in a sidebar. These plugins were built for Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express and Mozilla Thunderbird. These plugins went through 2 iterations, before being handed over to another team, which enabled me to spend all my time on our hosting products.In the last phase in this role, I was responsible for all the development teams working on our hosting products, including Windows hosting, Linux hosting and Email.

I built a quick-access system tray icon on Windows for Orderbox, our home grown e-commerce platform on which we ran our entire business. Simultaneously, I maintained and expanded our home grown Windows Hosting product almost single handedly.A common theme in all my projects in this phase and through much of my tech career was that I did not have any help from senior developers. I learned what I needed to know independently, on the fly, and pushed the envelope on my tech skills and knowledge every day.

I worked on a comprehensive hospital automation software named MediTrack. The software stored all aspects of patient data, including personal details, prescriptions, x-rays images and much more.It was written in Visual Basic.
