Contributing to the development of 3D image processing methods using C/C++ to optimize visualization techniques for cardiac optical and ultrasound imaging data, employing efficient algorithms to enhance the accuracy and robustness of visualizations.

Developed a type theory for enhancing diagramming tools and explored a type system for diagrams, leading to submissions and presentations at SPLASH and SACNAS conference, and will be co-author on subsequent research publication. The work involved categorically coding 150+ open-source visualization tool's source code (e.g. AMD GPUOpen, Torchview) for their data structure decomposition properties, yielding statistically significant evidence supporting our proposed diagram type theory. Further, I aided in the design of a human control experiment and eye-tracking study, to corroborate data observations and strengthen our theory's credibility.

Undergraduate research @Staller Labs. Running all-atom Monte Carlo trajectory simulations, and protein activation domain machine learning predictions on the UC Berkeley Savio cluster. Exploratory analysis of the correlation between protein features and activity, as well as ML interpretability.

Summer internship with the FLIP National Fellowship. Projects include updating and maintaining the FLIP National website, creating an interactive geo-map showcasing the org's chapters, performing data analysis/visualization on student survey responses, developing a "First-gen student friendliness" score algorithm for higher education institutions, developing a FLIP National mobile app, and collaborating with other FLIP National teams on multimedia projects.

Summer Internship @Forli Labs. My project surrounded computationally predicting molecular interactions and writing code to analyze the results. The finding from our research has implications in drug design.

12-week software training and internship: Three-week crash course in artificial intelligence (AI), a nine-week course on Service Catalog building, and a final presentation of my own prototype Service Catalog.

Trained on how to communicate regarding mental health as well as how to deal with the stigma surrounding it. Additionally, I worked in a team to produce content that would draw students into taking advantage of their school’s mental health resources.
