Upon graduation, we each embarked on separate paths filled with life-altering and enriching experiences.When our beloved friend and classmate Kevin Moore was tragically taken from us without warning, in our shared grief we realized that life is a precious gift and is often too short. We rekindled our friendship around the passion for music and great films and are forging forward in Kevin’s memory. We also recognize the selfless sacrifices by those in uniform past and present and their families. In our own small way we hope to honor them.Area 86 Pictures is dedicated to creating and producing powerful stories that need to be seen and heard.

As a supporter and admirer of Project Boon for several years, I was honored to accept the invitation to serve as Board Chair in 2019. I am now serving as Vice Chairman and in my current role, I support the board chair, our fellow board members, and collaborate with our team - a team of incredible individuals; people who are committed to making a positive difference in the surrounding communities and even internationally. Project Boon empowers the underserved and food insecure in Southern California and neighboring Mexico providing basic needs, health education, and more. Our work touches and leverages a large network, including beneficiaries, participants, donors, volunteers, sponsors, executives, professionals, companies, and community leaders.Our mantra, "Give Without Reservation," explains that everyone of us can do something to make a positive difference in our community and world. Many will donate resources. Others will volunteer their time and connections. The greatest impact is made on the frontlines where donors and volunteers get to see exactly where their efforts and resources reach individuals and families. Project Boon doesn't stop there. Our charter school looks at each student as an individual learner with their own expectations, goals, activities, and resources. Our personalized learning plans aim to take the best of all worlds - the homeschool tradition, the classroom setting, and everything in between - and use what works best for each student.
