Metrology Engineering Technician
CurrentESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create and optimize recipes on advanced Automated Optical Inspection tools for wafer product metrologyDispositions production & engineering lots on hold due to process/measurement or inspection issuesFirst line of defense resolving operational issues raised by production operators, escalates to engineering if requiredFirst line of defense to bring up a down tool, escalates to maintenance/engineering if needed. Able to reach out to vendors to resolve tool/recipe issues if necessaryTroubleshoots inspection/measurement failures to verify if they are due to recipe/wafer problems. Corrects the recipe if it is due to a recipe issue, and triages to Engineering team if it is due to a wafer problemWrites operation/engineering procedures; trains and certifies production operators and junior technicians to use advanced Automated Inspection and Measurement tools. Able to cross-train engineers to the same tools, if necessaryTrains & ensures operators run SPC, and executes OCAP (out of control action plan) if neededExecutes Design of Experiment (DOE) provided by Engineering and provides data summary & report to EngineeringPerforms calibration, qualification of Onto AOI toolsPerforms/Supports Engineering to do root cause analysis on measurement/inspection escapes
