As a laboratory Analyst I am responsible for analysis of samples within a defined area to all UKAS and DWI standards and relevant H&S standard. I carry out routine and non-routine analytical work, in line with the requirements of a highly regulated, DWI and ISO 17025, laboratory. Additionally, I produce, record, maintain and verify data along with running a variety of automated and manual Laboratory techniques.

As a Medicines Counter Assistant I am responsible for managing the pharmacy over-the-counter medicines. As part of my role, I offer advice and suggestions to customers on medicines for common ailments by understanding their symptoms and offering them the best possible remedies. I am also responsible for ordering, receiving and managing the medicines so that the shop is well stocked with different brands giving our customers a wide range of choice to make informed decisions. Other duties of my role includes taking in and handing out scripts for the patients and taking the prescription charges. I perform these duties with best of my abilities by providing great customer service to everyone entering the pharmacy, and thereby helping to promote our services and maintain repeated business.
