Results driven supply chain specialist with a focus on reverse logistics, ensuring that low cost replacement parts, as well as refurbished/reworked end-of-life parts are readily available in support of the service supply chain. With years of experience working for medical device manufacturers, I understand the critical nature of service and the potential negative outcomes that arise when a medical instrument becomes inoperable and the necessary parts to bring the machine back online aren’t readily available. Working with both in house repair depots and outside suppliers and repair vendors, I’ve built and refined processes that keep legacy and out of production parts available for service use allowing customers greater flexibility to operate their equipment years after production has halted. Knowing that a down medical device isn’t providing the potentially life saving service of its design, it is critical that the period each malfunctioning instrument is out of service is reduced to the shortest time possible. My years of experience has taught me many lessons on how to alleviate the burden of not having the necessary parts on hand to repair each instrument .
