Full-stack Software Engineer with emphasis on Ruby on Rails and JavaScript. Able to work in teams or independently. A self-motivated problem solver that works well under pressure. I am a 22 years old software engineer, new to the field and with lots of motivation to learn and get experience in the field. On 2019 I was a struggling with college, because I felt it was the right path for me, I was starting my 3rd year of Biology BS. After struggling with college for a year I decided to drop out and explore other routes that suit me better, and that's when I found out about software Engineering and Flatiron School.After dropping out of college I found out about flatiron school and their software engineering program and spent months doing research about the program and trying out free coding courses to make sure this career suits me. By the end of 2020 I had decided that this was the right path to follow, I fell in love with coding, creating my own apps, and see them work and finding ways to solve problems, I loved those feelings and right away decided to attend Flatiron School.On March 2021 I started the Software Engineering program at Flatiron School and it was a lot of work for the next 5 or 6 months, however the experience was awesome. I went from knowing nothing about code to be able to built apps on my own. On August I graduated from the program and since then I have been learning python and other commonly used languages. Now I am currently going back to college to pursue a Computer Science degree.Currently I am looking for a job at an entry-level position or an internship where I can learn more about new languages and technologies to further develop my knowledge. I do not have experience in the field, but I am more than willing to try my best to learn new things everyday.
