Business Analyst
Current• Responsible for resolving moderately complex business problems by analyzing and isolating reported issues and defects, and presenting interim solutions when applicable. • Provide root cause solutions by working with various business units to gather requirements, and technology resources to identify and present solutions to the impacted business units.• Collaborate with business operations, technology groups, business partners, software providers, vendors and Knowledge Management Services (KMS) to implement solutions for both tactical and strategic production support business initiatives. • Identify and address potential impacts of business process changes to production support applications, and of technical changes to integrated applications ensuring the applications’ reliability and data integrity.• Assists and supports corporate initiative projects as a Project Subject Matter Expert (SME) or as a Project Business Analyst for COTS/in-house application upgrades or platform migration to new COTS products. • Provide analysis, feedback, and recommendations to various project teams.• Identifies stakeholders of the work, how they are impacted and what their needs and roles are to effectively engage in the effort.• Translates moderately complex business/technology information into simple, clear and accurate language to ensure understanding by technical and non-technical audiences.• Leads complex initiatives to analyze current behavior, gather and validate requirements, and perform impact assessments. • Develops test plans and test cases and performs user acceptance testing (UAT) for technical changes, operational requests and data patches on production support applications.• Coordinates the communication and implementation of solutions to impacted user areas, as a project leader.
