He is passionate about the outdoors whether it is camping or four-wheeling which he combines both most of the time. He appreciates the peacefulness of the outdoors, the sounds and things not normally seen in the city which helps him get his mind off of things. This passion gives him the sense that he can take time to see things and not rush into a situation. He can study it quickly and come up with a plan. When he finds himself in a situation that he thinks is impossible, he has the patience to figure it out and not give up. He finds that with patience, he can take time to efficiently and safely get tasks done and more so possibly find inefficiencies or improvement to help the employer be more productive.Joel enjoys operating heavy equipment as well as leading the team. On an educational front, he took a course in Outdoor Adventure. It was a combination of his passion and the business aspect of the industry. He became a guide/instructor for various sports giving him the knowledge of how he can possibly turn his passion into his own business. He has continuously developed professionally by participating in various health and safety-related training and supervisory courses.Joel continues to be focused on improving his position as an operator, developing his cutting-edge skills in Heavy Equipment Operation. He takes personal satisfaction in tackling new challenges with a competitive edge as he advances his career within an ever-changing industry.
