Responsible for Direct Energy's NERC compliance program with participation in 5 of 8 NERC regions. Also, assist with wholesale market structure advocacy and support to wholesale and retail lines of business. Participate on a national and regional level in NERC reliability standards development and various working groups. Management and compliance support for the Upstream Power and Trading group as it relates to commercial operation within the ERCOT protocols and operating guides.

Managed a team of four Market Support Analysts who performed numerous support functions for the ERCOT market. These included the post market day review process, various data posting obligations, monitoring of ERCOT Market Clearing Engine (SPD) software operation and accuracy, participation in various ERCOT stakeholder forums and continued support of ERCOT market participants and ERCOT System Operations. I also served as the ERCOT business representative to AREVA when making software enhancements, study model changes, protocol mandated system changes and all troubleshooting activities. Served as the PUCT Market Oversight Devision point of contact for ERCOT and managed the implementation process for the ERCOT IMM.

Responsible for economic dispatch of generation assets to meet market commitments and maximize the return on assets deployed while meeting all requirements of a NERC Certified Control Area. Provide supervisory support to shift and organization, including management of all SERC related operations and regional activities.
