For more than 20 years I have been responsible for sophisticated security system implementations of a technical and political nature. With a technical, hardware and electrical background, I have many creative solutions that save time and increase efficiency for my employer and customers. At Facebook I work with operational users to gather their requirements then research, test, redesign, alter systems before they are implemented on a global scale. I work with my key partners both internally and externally to ensure all systems are capable, flexible for long term scale, are designed and setup with the end user in mind.I specialize in, building tools and custom configurations for multiple customers that uphold the combined vision of their project and organization. These tasks can be soft skills or technical in nature and often require a high degree of coordination and skill so as not to affect the end users’ critical and non-critical parts of the business. Current day to day responsibilities include people and contractor management, coordination, mentoring of colleagues and direct employees, systems design, project management, systems implementation, upgrades to database and/or system repair, scripting, data manipulation, customer support issue resolution and budget management. At Tyco I designed, managed, integrated and converted security and IT systems and from one manufacturer or platform to another with minimal impact to the end user. These tasks often include combining multiple systems into one following company mergers, divestitures or moves. As a commitment to reducing waste, wrote a collection of scripts that converted a Kantech system to a Ccure system saving 4000 hours of manual labor
