In my current role at Orange City Council, I operate street sweeper and footpath sweeper trucks to maintain the cleanliness of the city. I am responsible for cleaning up Autumn leaves, roadworks and litter around the council limits and the Central Business District (CBD) of Orange. On a daily basis, I contribute to making the city more aesthetically pleasing for both ratepayers and tourists by keeping the city clean from litter and leaves.In addition to this, I also help to ensure road safety by removing loose material from road surfaces after roadworks and traffic incidents. It is crucial to maintain a clean and safe environment for the residents and visitors of Orange. I take pride in conducting daily cleaning operations, utilising effective techniques and time management skills to efficiently complete all cleaning tasks.Collaborating with my fellow city workers is essential to ensure that we coordinate cleaning schedules and maintain an inviting city for all. During my time as a casual labour-hire provider, I had the opportunity to work with various construction, mining and warehouse sites around Orange NSW. I took on a range of responsibilities, including site clean-up, general labouring and forklift operation.As a reliable and hardworking labourer, I assisted in the successful completion of multiple projects, working closely with my team members to ensure that we met or exceeded our client’s expectations. During my time as a Survey Instrument operator and assistant, I had the opportunity to work on various construction, mining and residential developement sites accross regional NSW and remote areas. I was responsible for operation and maintenance of survey equipment, where I assisted in precise setouts of housing blocks and civil engineering projects such as the construction of the Lake Cowal gold mine in central NSW.During my time at Langford and Rowe I developed skills and expertise operating Total stations and RTK GPS systems required for precise setout and aerial mapping operations. This experience has proven valuable in my current drone operations as the owner and operator of Oakdale UAV Solutions.
