About Joel Gorden

Joel Gorden is an engineer and business owner with nearly 20 years of professional experience in the areas of 3D metrology, first article inspection (FAI) and reverse engineering. Joel graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2001. Joel began his career as a New Products Engineer at Centranz, where he specialized in reverse engineering using a FARO Arm portable Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). In 2004, Joel founded MetrologyWorks, Inc., the premier source internationally for aftermarket portable CMM probes, mounts, rolling stands, SMRs, laser tracker tooling, fixture plates, fixturing kits and accessories. In 2005, Joel co-founded Industrial Parts & Manufacturing, Inc. (IPMI). Utilizing modern, high-speed machines and automation, IPMI delivers high quality parts at very competitive prices.
