As the Director of Advocacy and Community Partnerships at H.O.M.E.S., Inc., I oversee our advocacy efforts, and develop partnerships to promote affordable housing for low-to-moderate income and special needs residents within the Broward County Community.

Oversaw federally-funded grants that provided disaster-relief employment to people who lost their jobs as a result of the Hurricane Irma locally, or who evacuated Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. Placed with public sector organizations, workers assisted with restoration efforts and provided humanitarian aid to Broward.

Assisted the Florida Association of Nonprofit Organizations to redesign their Sunshine Certificate in Nonprofit Management promotional materials, and developed marketing strategies for same. Created social media campaigns, and started to help them with the redesign of their web site.

• Purchased a small local retail tennis store, re-branded it, and grew the company from annual sales of $600K to $2.8M in sales with three locations and 21 employees.
• Created an e-commerce site and expanded national and international selling channels.
• Purchased and renovated a 6,000-square foot building to serve as the company's flagship location. Designed an innovative retail space, integrating a massage therapy suite, an indoor demo court and custom racquet.
• Promoted special events with tennis stars such as Venus Williams and Boris Becker as well as events for the express purpose of raising monies for charities.
• Designed and published e-newsletters, created videos for YouTube channel with tips and product reviews, and promoted the brand and through social media and a database which grew to over 25,000 customers.
