Managed and developed 15 Captiva Processes in Captiva 6.0 environment. Cleared a backlog of existing critical issues with Captiva 6.0 prior to implementing Captiva 7.1. Working with a team of remote developers and coworkers to convert and create 17 CaptureFlows with 50+ Document Types to Captiva Capture 7.1. Worked with a vendor to design new CaptureFlows in order to use new Captiva Desktop module as well as capturing Operator Statistics. Implemented new Desktop Adapter custom functionality in to all CaptureFlows. Created and maintained .NET C# code for Profile Scripts, inserting images and metadata into FileNet, and capturing operator and document statistics for reports. Worked with Business Analysts to create test data and test scripts for system testing. Reported on, managed, and addressed issues as they were discovered. Managed what issues were handled by which developers. Managed and developed IBML scan jobs. Worked with all vendors on all product support issues. Performed end user training for Data Entry supervisors and scanner operations personnel. Assisted the Captiva Administrator and IBML personnel with Disaster Recovery exercises. Used both Scrum Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies. Completed an evaluation on efforts to convert all of the CaptureFlows and related objects to Captiva 7.6 from Captiva 7.1.

Bank of America – 1 year working in a Captiva Administrator role in order to support all of the existing applications as they were transitioning to Captiva 6. Supported end-users, developers and the QA staff with all Capture related issues. Deployed software and modified configuration files for multiple QA environments as well as Production. Monitored and reprocessed batches when they failed and reported on any issues discovered. Used Documentum Image Repository to confirm whether batches were being processed in a timely manner. Worked on and resolved issues assigned to Capture Administrators via problem tracking systems such as Maximo and the HP QC module. Executed smoke tests as required as part of deployments and other maintenance activities.Texas Workforce Commission – 1 year working along with 4 other developers and 2 QA resources. Upgraded all processes and programs to the latest EMC Captiva versions. Supported custom functionality for complex editing functionality on two applications that were very high volume and critical. Supported custom functionality using FileNet objects to update the image repository. Performed System Integration testing as applications were upgraded and unit tested. Worked extensive with EMC Product Support on resolving issues with the product.

Over 9 years of experience with data and image capture applications using a variety of EMC|Captiva products including FormWare (File Based and Database versions), FormWare for InputAccel compatibility modules, InputAccel, and Dispatcher for InputAccel. Provided technical expertise and developed application for both end users and integrators using appropriate modules in workflow based data capture software. These services were provided to customers at their specific locations as required and remotely from my home based office. Used a combination of modules from 3 basic product groups that EMC|Captiva sold.
