 I lead the Training practice at Solliance. We provide expert-level training to organizations through on-demand labs and instructor-led engagements. All of our trainers are recognized leaders in their respective fields and actively work as consultants, bringing their current, real-world experience to the classroom. I am a leader within the Data & AI practice. My focus is on cloud development, data engineering, Big Data, and analytics. Co-authored the HDInsight Developer Guide, Azure Databricks Developer Guide, SQL Server Developer Guide, and Azure Machine Learning Developer Guide for Microsoft. App vNext is a team of intelligent and creative software developers who come together to deliver high-quality software for all platforms. Although their focus is on IoT (Internet of Things) and connected systems, the App vNext team is deeply entrenched in all aspects of modern software from web to devices to NUI (New User Interface) projects. Led by industry veteran Carl Franklin, App vNext is a relative newcomer as a company, but collectively (as developers) represents hundreds of years of experience.

 Develop custom web, server, and desktop applications per customer's specifications. Designed and built an enterprise-level SharePoint 2013 environment using best practices. Developed SharePoint branding via a custom theme, based off of Twitter Bootstrap for responsive rendering. Planned, tested, and executed a successful migration from an existing SharePoint 2010 environment to the newly created 2013 environment.

 Lead software engineer, overseeing several in-house developers on all custom software development projects. Other duties include web application development and software architecture for Command-level web and client/server requirements. Primary engineer for Command Group and OPS requests. Perform custom web and software application development using Visual Studio, SQL Server, Oracle, C#, AJAX/JavaScript (+ jQuery, knockout.js, SignalR, etc.), and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. I am working as part of a team developing Web Services, Web Parts, ASP.Net (forms and MVC)-based web applications (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0), and portal sites for the primary purpose of Knowledge Management, Records Management, and Document Management. Build desktop applications using Windows Forms, and WPF with Prism. Develop Windows Services and other service-related apps as needed. Transitioned NSWDG from having no SharePoint site, to running SharePoint 2003, and then migrating to SharePoint (MOSS) 2007. Oversaw migration to SharePoint 2013. I was the primary person responsible for the 2003-2007 migration. This project was completed under the time budget requested by the client without additional resources. I also created custom site templates and other features for 2007 as well as 2013. Regularly build tools, libraries, and set development standards for the team. This helps ensure that our products are built in a consistent and high standard of quality. Collateral duty as a Deputy Site Lead, working as a back-up to the site lead who oversees all of the IT contractors at this site for ARMA Global.

 On-site liaison for CACI in support of their Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) resource management software (RMOnline) on location at TRADOC, Ft. Monroe. Duties included server-level support. Responsible for two production servers and a training/development server. Perform system administration and maintenance as well as Oracle DBA functions and Cold Fusion and IIS web server administration and maintenance procedures. Perform web application development and design duties for RMOnline using Cold Fusion 5.5 and creating and modifying Oracle database objects such as stored procedures, tables and views.

 Team EITC Application Development Coordinator for NSW, Navy East. Developmental lead for client-side and Web-enabled database applications, based on SQL Server RDBMS back-end with ASP/JavaScript front-end, and Microsoft Transaction Server with COM+ components as the middle-tier. Administer and maintain IIS 4/5 Server and SQL 7/2000 Server. Develop high-end SQL database/web applications, utilizing ADO, ODBC, parameterized Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, etc. Applications include web-based Inventory (Configuration Management) system, Help Desk, Personnel Management, and many others. Webmaster/Web Developer for Naval Special Warfare Group Two, SIPRNet.

 Responsible for developing stand-alone front-end applications for filtering and displaying reports based on data stored on a remote ORACLE database. Programmed the user interface with Visual Basic 6, developed the reports in Crystal Reports v.8, and created a local Access database that programmatically imports and parses ORACLE data into local tables via pass-through queries and linked tables. Utilized numerous data summarizing techniques for use with developing roll-up reports and statistical datasheets.

 Responsible for developing web-based solutions for site-wide/internet and enterprise-wide program requirements. Developed in Microsoft Interdev (ASP), Macromedia Ultradev, Lotus Domino, Macromedia Flash, FrontPage 2000, Office 2000, Visual Basic 6.0, and SQL Server 7/2000, VBScript, JavaScript, XML, DHTML. Previously managed and provided computer-based and network-based support for 4 groups of directorates at Commander in Chief US Atlantic Fleet, Norfolk VA. Responsible for developing an automated installation solution for deploying NT 4.0 and all Win32 programs for a massive rollout in March, 1999. Lead in the development of an ASP and SQL-based Utilities and Cost Analysis Reporting web site, along with other major ASP-based projects.

 Provided technical support by phone to computer customers. Promoted to Training Specialist position with the responsibility of training all Gateway technicians in the Hampton facility on new technologies. This required many hours of research and testing on new and beta products.

 Provided technical support by phone for printer customers. Helped write technical support documents for new issues such as users having driver difficulties when upgrading from Windows 3.1x to Windows 95 as well as how to handle issues with bidirectional printer cables.

 Co-developed career software programs using VB and MS Help Engine. Produced graphics and digital photographs for software programs. Digitized thousands of lines of text for use of software content.
