Owner/operator of Artio Garden Services, operating in South Cheshire and North Staffordshire

Responsible for the planning of technical maintenance on one of the UK’s largest bioscience campuses at Alderley Park, Cheshire, which now includes one of the UKs Lighthouse Labs. Due to the high number of assets, which have more than doubled and the nature of the work being undertaken on site, it is important that all essential maintenance is undertaken in a timely manner as there are potentially significant impacts due to failure of equipment. This often includes the undertaking of small projects on site, requiring the coordination of staff, subcontractors and communicating with the customer in order for these projects to be undertaken. To facilitate these, I have implemented new systems and reformed redundant systems use a range of computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Teams, along with more specific programmes such as Maximo and Prime4. My core responsibilities include:- Arrange planned maintenance for all of Alderley Park Ltd’s owned assets, including but is not exclusive to pressure systems, local exhaust and ventilation units, fixed ladders, fixed wire testing, RCD testing, air handling and refrigeration equipment- Manage and organise response to reactive jobs logged on the Global Maximo system by the customers and other workers on site- Time manage a team of 18 engineers for works to be completed in a timely and efficient manner- Work on chargeable projects additional to contract, undertaking supplier management responsibilities and relations- Manage maintenance contracts with third parties- Providing and managing hard service key performance indicators to be presented to the customer

This UK based role in was primarily administrative duties. Within this role I undertook the activities: - Coordinating the payroll of about 30 employees on site- Organising any of the hard services maintenance quotes needed for the efficient running of the business via SAP- I process the cash taking assets from the site in which we operate- Ensured those using our services get the best service while meeting budgetary requirements

• Ensuring the facilities at the Alderley Park site are of a high standard• Providing meeting room and technical support• Providing logistical support when needed

• Ensuring the facilities and service in the AstraZeneca Conference center and Sodexo catering outlets are of a high standard to make sure the customer has the best experience possible• Providing catering for any functions to be held at the conference center or outlets in addition to any layout or technical support needed• Ensuring hygiene and safety is kept to a high standard• Cash handling and key holder for the various outlets around the site

Provided services such as Catering Assistant, Barista and Kitchen Porter

In this position I was responsible for looking after the hotel and its residents overnight. My duties included:• Responding to fire and intruder alarms• Front of house duties including customer service on the bar and in the restaurant• Cleaning of the bar and hotel• Hotel reception duties• Cashing up for the next day along with calculating the residents’ bills • Master key holder for all of the hotel premisesIn addition to the above, Night Porters frequently supervise the remaining bar staff to close . We were also responsible for any training of new people to the position. During my employment with the Oxwich Bay Hotel, I also often work as a Food and Beverage Assistant and Housekeeper when they need me to, which has given me a detailed view as to how the front of house works within the hotel along with the inner workings of the hotel.

In this position I was in charge of supervising a team of up to 10 shop staff. My duties included:• Cashing up• Ordering stock, maintaining the stock levels and the database in which their information is held• General customer service• Displaying the products within the shop • Opening and closing the shopDuring my time as shop supervisor, I also campaigned for more fair trade items within the shop in conjunction with the University of Wales, Lampeter as a whole. I represented the shop on the fair trade committee and initiated a dedicated display of fair trade items within the shop.
