I write our feature pieces and document our APIs, but most of my time is spent helping customers out with whatever questions they may have

My main responsibility is documenting the APIs that we use, but I also write feature pieces that are published on our website, write our blog, and do some internal documentation.

I proofread academic textbook manuscripts in varying subjects using different style guides including APA, MLA, and Chicago, depending on subject.

Text entered and copy edited math and science questions from pdfs of textbooks into our database so they could be accessed and viewed online by students. To do so I used HTML and an offshoot of Latex to format the text for viewing online. I also became familiar with CSS in order to make various fixes to our site's main CSS style document to address display issues. After a few years, when the company formed agile, self-organizing teams, I acted as style expert for my team and answered any questions they had related to making their code fit company style. I did an internship for Academe: the official magazine of the AAUP. I edited many articles, located appropriate images for the articles, and generally helped get the magazine ready to publish.
