Responsible for the weekly and monthly billing for approximately half of the company’s profit centers, with average monthly fee billing of $8 million. Provided staff accountants with monthly sales information for their use in the Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-End close process.E-mailed center managers and region vice presidents weekly sales summary by profit center.

Directed combined average monthly fee billing of $1.23 million for the interior design firm’s Atlanta, London, and Dubai offices. Worked closely with project managers and clients to ensure time invoice payment. Kept project managers informed on collection and billing status of all accounts, and contacted clients weekly to resolve 60+ days outstanding accounts. Successfully collected on accounts which had been deemed as “bad debt write-off,” creating an additional $75,000 in receivables.

Played a key role in creating the company’s work order system, which was accepted by GDI’s CEO, and was used to track costs on 10 engineering and construction projects. Served as a point of contact to clients regarding diverse billing concerns, managed all billing for the Engineering Department (over $200,000/month), and sent invoicing to clients. Pro-actively identified and researched billing and accounting discrepancies, and notified upper management of potential concerns before they became problems.
