Member of Global Data Center Team. • Responsibilities include evaluation of current network configuration, security policies, client to server connectivity, WAN circuit utilization and performance, firewall and VPN management.• Responsible for Aruba wireless solution implementation that allowed for our nursing staff to better support our patients with a mobile records application. Controller was located at the main office and controlled APs and access to the wireless network for three branch offices. • Responsible for bringing up disaster recovery site. Worked with server team to identify bandwidth and server connectivity needs and implemented backup solution to provide for disaster recovery for key company data.

• Worked on the Network team for the Wisconsin Dept. of Transportation.• Duties include daily operations including firewall rules, network administration, SAN environment administration, DNS additions, inventory tracking, assist in user, workstation, and application troubleshooting, monitor reports and provide data when requested on site information.• Project work has included recommending and implementing network monitoring tools, assist in new application design and implementation, lead for SAN design and implementation, lead for wireless rollout.• End-user support for a full suite of applications including common office and business suite and custom applications. This includes top-level support that ends with packet sniffing technologies to troubleshoot application shortcomings.

• Served as a consultant for the United States Virgins Islands Department of Education. This project grew from a client that had few computers and no networking capabilities to 40+ site LANs interconnected over a wireless redundant backbone covering 3 islands. • Provided Windows domain and network services, email service, VoIP, and distributed video over the data network, along with a managed head-end that load balanced three ISPs for connection to the internet. • As part of a team, designed and installed 50+ point-to-point wireless links with bandwidth ranges of 1.5mg to 100mg to connect the schools to the wireless backbone and link island to island. • Involved in the design and install of networks and services for several large clients, including the school districts of Broward County, FL, Gary, IN, and Colorado Springs, CO, Las Vegas, NV and Denver, CO. • Experience with large cable/fiber installs both hands on installation and cable management as well as providing oversight for contracted personnel for the same.• Designed, upgraded and/or installed more than 50 ethernet networks for large school district across the U.S.• Responsible for installing and managing firewalls, including Juniper Networks, Cisco, Sonic Wall and GTA.• Responsible for unicast and multicast video distribution over the data network.
