In my 6+ years of work experience, I demonstrated how my diligence and inquisitiveness can help me bridge any knowledge or skills gap I may have to meet or even exceed the expected results in an efficient and effective manner.I graduated with a degree in Agribusiness Management but ventured into the insurance industry as a Management Trainee. Despite the industry difference and having little to no knowledge about insurance, my general management knowledge, diligence, and natural tendency to learn new things helped me to successfully complete the program.I was eventually assigned to Fire & Engineering Claims which deepened my technical non-life insurance knowledge. Most of the cases I handled were Large Losses and other complex cases such as Machinery Breakdown and Business Interruption losses. These cases involved a lot of coordination with local and even international loss adjusters and consultants, other local insurers as well as international reinsurers in order to reach an amicable settlement.After about two years, I shifted to a more strategic function as an Organization Structure & Process Analyst. Despite being new to organization design & development and business process engineering, my diligence and inquisitiveness, as well as my in-depth knowledge of our core business operations, allowed me to effectively partner with different business units in reviewing and (re)designing their business processes and organization structure in order to achieve their business objectives.I firmly believe that a job can be learned as long as you are diligent, curious, and committed.
