Utilizing Community resources, and business partnerships to provide ServiceSource participants with the most community-integrated social, volunteer, and skill-building opportunities in Arlington County, and surrounding communities. In addition to supporting Virginia's "Employment First" philosophy (ensuring that community-based supported employment in integrated work settings is presented as the first and priority service option), I am also responsible for creating integrated, community activities that provide a wide variety of opportunities to facilitate, and build relationships and natural supports in the community, while utilizing the community as a learning environment for each participant. Providing opportunities that people without disabilities have to volunteer, work, and play in their own community.

Charleston, South Carolina Area

Directly responsible for supervising approximately 30 plus staff members (RN's, LPN's, and Home Health Aids) who provided direct support care; providing thorough documentation, and other related services to people living with chronic illnesses in their own homes. Appointed one of two Charleston SC, political advisors, meeting with legislators and delegates advocating for appropriate client care, and higher Medicaid reimbursement rates, etc. Daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment of a constant influx of new staff members; conducting thorough orientations, and maintaining 24/7 schedules for all staff members, and clients.

Springfield, Va

Develop and maintain appropriate processes and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in connection with CARF (national accreditation); human rights, and Medicaid; Supervise and oversee Program Support Specialists, and Behavior Support Managers/Behavior Department to ensure all supporting documentation is in compliance with regulatory standards (licensure/certification standards); Analyze all program data and documentation to identify organizational trends; Research trends in the industry and stay informed on the current federal and state regulations.

Springfield Va

Develop, implement, and train staff on behavioral protocols, guidelines, and Behavior Intervention Plans, to support individuals with disabilities and behavioral challenges. In this position, I also take on the role of liaison between families, Group Homes, Community Services Boards, and Behavior Consultants, while also leading an Internal Behavior Review Committee.
