Patry’s captivating abstract paintings utilize vibrant colours and bold textures to create speculative and imaginative landscapes. The work possesses a punchy playful energy, created through meticulous line work, masterful colour gradation, and layers of recognizable motifs. Patry blurs and distorts images of trucks, machines, people, and animals, experimenting with scale and proportion, to explore the balance between nature, memory, and relationships. According to the artist, “the work can be youthful, vital, intriguing while also displaying moments of chaos, confusion, and instability. This is me accepting how life is. That there is no way to have one side without the other.”Patry has exhibited extensively in Vancouver and Calgary with his work residing in private collections across Canada and the United States. Completed a 3-month internship. Daily tasks included assisting with the design of lighting plots, helping oversee onsite implementation/execution, site surveys, VectorWorks/CAD design for decks and print layouts, and communicating with clients and production staff. Clients including 29Rooms from Refinery29, Hyatt Regency, Instagram, GLADD Awards, Hypebeast and Louis Vuitton.

Managed large scale construction of commercial and residential properties, while specializing in high voltage power distribution and commercial fire alarm systems. Assigned team lead on long term electrical projects and acquired knowledge in drafting, construction and testing.
