Over the past two decades, my journey in the building and construction industry has been marked by diverse roles and progressive growth. I began as a Trades Assistant in plastering, eventually establishing my own venture, JSR Plastering, in 2002. This entrepreneurial experience exposed me to various facets of business administration, including financial management, quoting, and procurement, along with overseeing a team to enhance productivity.In 2009, I transitioned to Parkvale Asset Pty Ltd, initially a residential building maintenance firm. Leveraging my background as a qualified plasterer and small-business owner, I contributed to the company's development. My responsibilities spanned managing trades personnel, supervising workflow, procuring project materials, liaising with clients to ensure contract compliance, and ensuring adherence to SHEQ requirements.As Parkvale Asset evolved into Parkvale Constructions Pty Ltd in 2016, I assumed the role of Project Manager/Senior Supervisor. This elevated position involved overseeing diverse projects, including renovations for local government, residential extensions, light commercial sites, and large asbestos removal projects.In 2020, I joined a tier 3 commercial builder LKS Constructions as a Site Supervisor, engaging in collaborative efforts with state and local government, contractors, and stakeholders on projects. In August 2022, I embraced a new challenge as a Site Supervisor at National Projects & Maintenance, where I managed fit-out works for national and international clients where very quickly in my time at the company I assumed the dual role of Site Supervisor and SHEQ Advisor (WA). This expanded role allowed me to uphold and enhance SHEQ standards across all WA sites, aligning with the high expectations of National Projects & Maintenance and the industry at large.By November 2023, I transitioned into tier 1 commercial construction with Multiplex as a Site Supervisor, bringing my skills to a larger scale. With the guidance and support of Multiplex, in April 2024, I moved into a Senior Site Supervisor position. I am enthusiastic about the opportunities this role presents and am eager to tackle the challenges that lie ahead.
