Joel Reichbart is an operationally focused hospitality finance executive with a CPA and holds a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University. He is currently Senior Vice President - Finance with Highgate Hotels working with the executive operations and Finance teams, supporting a portfolio of hotels in the NYC Metro area, New England, and Florida, as well as identifying and implementing key initiatives to drive productivity and efficiencies. Prior to this, Reichbart spent just over a year as the Vice President - Finance with Highgate supporting operations and Finance disciplines and advancing quickly to more leadership roles within the company, culminating in a promotion to Senior Vice President.Prior to joining Highgate, Joel spent nearly 10 years as Regional Director and then Senior Director with Hilton Worldwide overseeing the Northeast/Canada Full-Service Region and most recently, 6 years dedicated to the U.S. Luxury Brand portfolio and Las Vegas where he opened and transitioned numerous Waldorf Astoria and Conrad Hotels, including the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, Conrad Washington D.C. and the Virgin Las Vegas casino hotel. The total portfolio boasted $2.5 billion in total revenues.Other leadership highlights in Reichbart’s career included working; with the inventor of the boutique hotel concept, Ian Schrager, as the opening DOF at Hudson in New York City; as Director of Finance at the 2000-room New York Hilton where he also was the Finance Lead for the Hiltons of New York which encompassed the Waldorf Astoria New York and seven other properties; CFO of the independent New York Palace Hotel; CFO of Culinary Concepts by Jean-Georges overseeing growth from 3 restaurants to 15 in less than 3 years, including international openings in Europe, CALA and Canada; as Corporate Director -Finance at Turnberry Associates where he lead the conversion of the Fairmont Turnberry Isle to the Turnberry Isle Resort managed by ownership and worked on M&A.Specialties: CPA, CGMA
